There is a very tight balance to be maintained between absolutizing the relativity of truth statements and identifying any statement as unquestionably true. Living in pursuit of that balance is a necessity for anyone striving for a just and good society.
I was reminded of that by Michael F. Bird’s latest article “Mon Mothma and the End of Postmodernism”.
